Agora Talent are delighted to be hiring for a Financial Controller on behalf of a high-growth consultancy business that focuses on delivering value to their partners operating in the Consumer Goods sector (think B-Corp food & drink challenger brands). This is a truly well-rounded, all-encompassing role; previous experience in an SME setting is highly desirable. The right candidate will thrive in an environment of change and high intensity and won’t be afraid of taking charge of new initiatives. The role… Manage finance functions for partners, ensuring accuracy and excellence. Partner with teams outside of finance - e.g. sales, marketing and operations. Maintain accounting records, adhere to standards, and complete month-end tasks promptly. Supervise AR/AP ledgers and balance sheet reconciliations. Provide financial insights during monthly planning and assist in various projects. Establish and enforce financial controls, monitor budget spend, and conduct budget meetings. Deliver management accounts and departmental reports. Assist in preparing and submitting financial returns to regulatory bodies. Support Finance Director and auditors in year-end accounts. Supervise Finance Assistants and seek continual process improvements. About you… Consumer goods industry experience within an SME (experience in fast-growth is a plus). Collaborative team player excelling in clear communication with non-finance stakeholders. Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail. Efficiently manages multiple clients and deadlines. Displays energy, flexibility, and proactive autonomy. Prioritises tasks adeptly in fast-paced environments. Proficient in Intermediate/Advanced MS Excel. Skilled in accounting and stock management software such as SAP, Xero, QBO, and Unleashed. Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) or equivalent. Salary:
