for schools located in

Ringwood . This position is vital in providing focused assistance to students with Special Education Needs, enabling them to thrive both academically and socially. Your role will significantly enhance the learning experience for these students, ensuring they feel included and valued in their educational journey. Position: SEN Learning Support Location: Ringwood Hourly Rate: £12.82 - £14.72 (Depending on Experience) Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time About The Role As an

SEN Learning Support , you will play a crucial role in the educational development and well-being of students with special educational needs. Your support will help create an inclusive and supportive learning environment where every student can thrive. SEN Learning Support Responsibilities Provide one-on-one and group support to students with SEN, implementing tailored strategies to meet their individual needs. Assist in the planning and delivery of personalised learning programmes, working closely with teachers and other support staff. Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes confidence and self-esteem in students. Monitor and record student progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents. Support classroom management and help maintain a safe and inclusive environment. Collaborate with the SEN team to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs). Assist with the preparation and organisation of learning materials and resources. Promote positive behaviour and support students in developing social and emotional skills. SEN Learning Support Job Requirements Prior experience working with children or young adults with SEN is highly desirable. Relevant qualifications in Special Educational Needs or Learning Support are highly desirable. Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff and parents. A compassionate and patient approach, with a genuine commitment to enhancing the educational experiences of students with SEN. The ability to adapt to various situations and respond effectively to the needs of individual students. Understanding of various Special Education Needs conditions, including autism and ADHD. Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one). Join GSL Education Today!
