Customs Integration Manager - Coventry (Hybrid), BC9N0 £4200 Car allowance plus Healthcare, 18% annual bonus potential with 27.5 days annual leave, plus bank holidays, increasing to 30 days after 10 years service Permanent, Full time PFW International Hub/Hybrid (weekly visits to Coventry and travel to Farringdon expected when required) An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Royal Mail as we are looking for an experienced Commercial Customs Integration Manager. The CIM will spearhead strategic and operational changes concerning customs processes, systems, and software, supporting the Head of Commercial Customs. Responsibilities include managing stakeholder engagement, ensuring customs regulations compliance, and facilitating successful change implementation aligned with business objectives. About the role Implement and manage governance processes to control changes related to customs operations and systems including support project teams with documenting all change management activities and risks and maintain a clear audit trail of changes to ensure transparency and accountability. Be advisor to the internal business and customers as needed by Directors Import/Export. Own commercial customs capability and 3rd party supplier relationships. Keep abreast of government, legislation and other changes impacting the sector and ensure RMI is prepared in a timely manner. Work closely with all stakeholders across the business for developing fit-for-purpose, compliant and efficient customs solutions. Liaise closely with Group Tax and Legal on implementing solutions which maintain an acceptable level of compliance. About You Degree or equivalent in Customs, International Trade, and detailed knowledge of express parcels and postal customs obligations. Experience in customs management, customs software change, with a strong focus on stakeholder engagement, particularly working with government to implement changes. Strong knowledge of global customs regulations, compliance, and trade laws. Proven experience managing systems/software changes, especially in relation to customs or trade operations. Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience working cross-functionally with teams such as compliance, IT, legal, and commercial. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering business solutions.
