People and Culture Business Partner

This role demands a history of HR leadership within a manufacturing setting, with a strong emphasis on Employee Relations and delivering strategic HR solutions. Partnering with site leadership, you will spearhead initiatives that drive employee engagement, optimize performance, and ensure compliance across the operation. Key Responsibilities Strategic Planning: Contribute to the creation of the Regional People & Culture Strategy and implement a tailored People Plan for the site. Employee Relations: Take ownership of complex ER cases, managing both collective and individual matters in a legally compliant and balanced way. Engagement and Culture: Lead efforts to enhance employee engagement, driving initiatives that foster connection, commitment, and advocacy among colleagues. Diversity and Inclusion: Embed inclusion, equity, and diversity within the workplace, ensuring these values are integral to the business culture. Coaching and Development: Mentor and coach managers and leaders to enhance their people leadership capabilities and strengthen organizational effectiveness. Performance Management: Promote a culture of high performance through consistent performance management and development practices. Talent Management: Drive strategies for recruiting, developing, and retaining top talent, ensuring robust succession plans are in place for critical roles. Collaboration: Partner with regional and central teams to align programs for pay, benefits, and capability development with business needs. Health, Safety, and Wellbeing: Work alongside safety teams to reinforce a strong safety culture and deliver impactful wellbeing programs. People Analytics: Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making and improve performance outcomes. Compliance: Ensure adherence to people-related ESG goals and legal standards, including modern slavery regulations. What We Are Looking For Extensive HR leadership experience, ideally in a manufacturing or FMCG environment. Expertise in managing complex employee relations and driving employee engagement. A proven record of delivering organizational change and building capability. Strong relationship management and influencing skills across all organizational levels. A balance of strategic thinking and hands-on problem-solving. CIPD Level 5 (essential); CIPD Level 7 (desirable). Graduate-level competence with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
