These Junior Clinical Fellow (IMT1, 2 or equivalent) posts are to cover rotation vacancies in various medical departments.

Posts are fixed term for 6 months starting February 2025 until August 2025.

Applicants should have current or recent clinical experience in a UK NHS hospital.

The successful applicants will have the opportunity to experience working in a busy teaching hospital.

We welcome all applications irrespective of age, disability, gender, sexual orientation, race or religion. Additionally, people with disabilities will be offered an interview providing they meet the minimum criteria for the post. The Trust operates job share and flexible working.

Please note this advert may close before Friday 17th January depending on the number of applications received.

The appointment is to the Trust, not to specific hospitals.

Successful candidates will join the medical directorate Tier 1 rota including out of hours on-call elements within specialties and General Internal Medicine.

All employees, including the appointee, will be expected to be involved in implementing the Trust’s Clinical Governance programme. This includes active participation in clinical audit, quality, clinical guidelines/pathways, professional development, appraisal, and risk management.

As a university teaching hospital, we have developed our research and development strategy with the UEA and work with partners at the neighbouring Norwich Research Park. There are numerous opportunities for the post holder to undertake teaching roles on a sessional basis.

The Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is one of the biggest hospitals in England with over 1000 beds, situated in the city of Norwich. Norwich is a vibrant city, which has been voted as the best city to live in, on consecutive years by the Guardian and Sunday Times. The historic city is filled with independent cafes, restaurants, and shops, as well as all the typical high street chains. You can expect to spend your weekends exploring our beautiful coast, enjoying great coffee and treats in one of hundreds of cafes, walking in the countryside, or watching a show at one of our many theatres. With excellent transport links to Cambridge and London, affordable housing, and award-winning schools; Norfolk offers everything you require to establish the perfect work-life balance.
