The HR Advisor will collaborate with managers to advise on best practices that foster and maintain positive working relationships between the business and its employees, both individually and in teams. Job Description Your primary focus areas will include employee relations, handling smaller restructures, and providing general advice related to People & Culture (P&C) processes and policies. You will play a key role in ensuring that the business maintains a supportive and productive work environment, addressing concerns and guiding managers in implementing effective P&C strategies. Key Responsibilities Provide policy and procedure guidance to managers to ensure adherence and reduce risk. Support and guidance to managers in ER investigations and hearings in grievance and disciplinary matters. Restructure and TUPE (where needed in collaboration with ER CoE). Union liaison (where needed in collaboration with ER CoE). Contribute to the delivery of best people management practice, particularly in equal opportunity and cultural diversity. Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications Experience with a strong People & Culture Generalist capacity. Educated to degree level or equivalent and/or CIPD qualified, or willing to work towards CIPD qualification. Demonstrates a track record in successfully advising and guiding management on all aspects of people management practices. UK employment legislation knowledge, TUPE experience (basic understanding), and union experience. Problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
