The Role:
You will be working closely with the Transformation Lead on implementing the use of AI technology across all of YouLend’s business functions. The role will be project-focused, taking on strategic AI development initiatives and leading them through to successful execution.
In 2024, our Transformation team led the implementation of multiple plug-and-play solutions across our Sales and Operational teams. This included software that analysed calls, identified performance gaps, and enabled us to optimise conversion. In addition, we launched an external facing chatbot to assist with merchant requests. After seeing the results of the pilots, we now want to invest more resources in this area. This is the role we are looking to fill.
The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, as well as excellent people skills to communicate changes. In addition, it is expected that the candidate is able to work independently and proactively. This role will be targeted at improving the outcome, processes, and efficiencies across different functions in YouLend. In doing so, you will work alongside stakeholders across the business, from Sales and Operations through to our Product and Technology team.
Responsibilities:
Support on implementing AI initiatives, improving the current AI-supported processes, and ensure we maximise the value of these initiatives.
Identify, lead, drive, and implement new AI initiatives with a focus on driving meaningful impact for our customers.
Identify automation and other improvement areas where AI can be applied.
Further develop the process for delivering rapid financing to merchants.
Improve speed and quality of customer service.
Assist and support our team of 400 YouLenders across 10+ functions.
Take full ownership of making our processes the very best of any European fintech.
Ideal Candidate Skillset:
Project management experience from a fast-paced environment like a top-tier consulting firm, start-ups, scale-ups, etc.
Experience with identifying and executing on AI or other plug-and-play tech solutions is an advantage. No experience developing AI models as software or working as a data engineer required.
Strong problem-solving and analytics skills, e.g. through MS Excel and tools like PowerBI.
Excellent communication skills: written and verbal.
Excellent change management handling.
Experience in mass data manipulation through SQL, Python, R, etc. would be useful.
You will be proactive, take ownership, and act with urgency.
