3 days per week A global travel technology company is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join them on a contract basis. This role will play a key part in enhancing critical systems, developing and executing comprehensive test plans and cases. What You’ll Do
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and cases. Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies. Perform both manual and automated testing across various applications. Collaborate with development teams to maintain quality throughout the software lifecycle. Conduct regression testing to ensure new changes do not impact existing functionalities. Analyse test results and provide actionable insights to stakeholders. Participate in design and code reviews, offering valuable quality perspectives. Continuously enhance testing processes and methodologies. Key Skills and Experience
Experience:
Proven track record as a QA Engineer or in a similar role. Skills:
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Hands-on experience with automated testing tools like Selenium or JUnit. Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Traits:
Meticulous attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions. Highly Desirable:
Experience in performance and/or security testing. Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python). Certifications in Quality Assurance (e.g., ISTQB).
