As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will provide comprehensive community mental health services to a locality population of 79,000 patients aged 18-65.
You will be expected to provide assessment and ongoing care for patients within the Sector, along with advice and guidance for GPs and clinical leadership of the multi-professional team.
You will take part in the on-call rota. The weekly on-call rota is Dorset wide; at weekends in the East of the county, it is paid at a 3% on-call availability supplement PLUS 0.25 APA, and in the West of the county, it is paid at a 3% on-call availability supplement PLUS 0.75 APA.
You will be expected to maintain Section 12 (2) and be an Approved Clinician.

Relocation:
We can provide a generous relocation package of up to £10,000 if you are interested in moving to our beautiful county.

The base, Turbary Park, provides comprehensive community-based services to patients registered with general practitioners within Bournemouth. You will be expected to comply with continuing professional development and revalidation requirements set by the GMC and the Royal College of Psychiatrists and remain in good standing for CPD with the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
