Hackney

to assist with the appointment of a

Commercial Asset Manager

on a

3-month contract , highly likely to be extended at client’s discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration. Rate of Pay:

£308.61 - £398.00 per Day Responsibilities: Undertake or act as informed client on rent reviews; manage dispute resolution processes including third party applications for arbitration or expert determination. Undertake or act as informed client on lease renewals; instructing solicitors for service of appropriate notices; overseeing dispute resolution and court application processes. Market and let vacant units, including negotiation of terms and assessment of the suitability of prospective tenants including but not limited to proposed use and reflecting covenant strength e.g. assessment of financial accounts and trading history. Work closely with the Income and Debt Officer to minimise rent arrears and to ensure that the appropriate adjustments are made to rent accounts and other records as well as initiating debt recovery via Court Proceedings and Enforcement Agents, and recovering possession via forfeiture. Work closely with the Estates Technicians to ensure that void properties are managed effectively and in line with Health & Safety, Security and Insurance requirements. Qualifications: Member of the RICS on Valuation or Commercial Property pathways, or currently working towards qualification. Continued professional and personal development. Significant commercial property management experience. Undertaking a range of professional work across a variety of commercial properties and sectors.
