Key Responsibilities Provide trusted proactive robust strategic and operational financial management, commercial & financial planning advice and support. Assist in the preparation of information for senior officers, councillors, and the public in relation to financial issues. Ensure that effective financial controls are in operation and that financial risk is understood, clearly reported, monitored, and proactively minimised. Accountable for supporting business development and transformation by using insightful predictive analytics, optimising financial modelling and commercial acumen. Job Requirements
Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation. At least 2 years experience within a Finance Business Partner or equivalent. Relevant professional qualification - CCAB (or equivalent) qualification, or for risk Certified Member of the Institute of Risk Management. A clear and thorough understanding of the operational context within which local government services are currently operating. Sharp financial acumen to build robust commercial and economic models, define appropriate pricing strategies and ensure budgets & forecasts. How to Apply:
