Overall Purpose of Job – International Tax & Finance The Junior Analyst in the International Tax & Finance team will be involved in all aspects of the day-to-day work of the team. The successful applicant will gain valuable insight into how an International Tax & Finance department operates within a multinational group, providing an excellent basis for a future career in finance or tax. This role will closely support the International Tax & Finance team and will directly contribute to the performance of the team. Principal Accountabilities Provide extensive support to the International Tax team, liaising with global finance teams. Assist with quarterly and year-end international tax accounting work, including reviewing tax accounting information submitted from international group companies, enabling forecasts & analyses, and utilizing software for efficiencies. Review and summarize tax accounting information in SAP and PeopleSoft ERPs. Assist with international tax & finance projects, which may involve project management, financial modeling, and forecasting work. Provide support to analyze and research any ad hoc international tax issues arising. Candidate Requirements Currently studying towards a degree in Economics/Finance/Accounting. Enthusiasm to work effectively as a part of a team. Strong IT skills preferred, especially in Microsoft Excel, although training will be provided. Excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills. Flexible team member able to multi-task and act on initiative.
