Hygiene Manager - Food Manufacturing Location: South Wales Shift: Permanent Night Shift (Sunday to Thursday) Hours: 40 hours per week Salary: Competitive + Benefits Leave: 31 days annual leave Are you a driven Hygiene Manager ready to take on a pivotal role with a leading company in the food manufacturing industry? We are seeking an experienced professional to support growth and ensuring exceptional hygiene standards. About the Role As Hygiene Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving hygiene practices across the site, ensuring compliance with both manufacturing standards and customer requirements. This is a night-shift position, providing stability and consistency. Key Responsibilities: * Oversee and manage day-to-day hygiene activities and systems. * Ensure hygiene standards are met and continuously improved. * Lead, train, and develop the hygiene team. * Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance hygiene processes. * Implement technical strategies in line with business and customer needs. * Lead audits and visits, ensuring best practices are standardized and upheld. What You'll Need: * Strong literacy and numeracy skills. * Proficiency in IT systems, including Microsoft Office and ERP systems. * Attention to detail and a commitment to quality assurance. * Experience in team leadership, with motivational and development skills. * Self-motivated, with a hands-on approach. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Knowledge of food safety principles and BRC standards. * Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel. * Prior experience in hygiene within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
