You will manage the delivery of key assignments and defined business areas, providing strategic direction and monitoring delivery aligned with overall vision and objectives. You will support the long-term success of planning performance for specified engines/sectors/hubs, and the overall contribution to the broader company goals. You will develop and maintain effective communication and collaborative relationships with the Client and other project stakeholders, both internal and external. You'll need to have:
Competency to produce programmes and sequence plans with minimal supervision. Intermediate software user; Ability to provide schedule outputs in various formats to suit the audience/context. Established experience in built environment and with projects. Understands different procurement routes and types and forms of contract. Basic understanding of Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) stages. Able to respond to all client/stakeholder requests effectively and sensitively. Communicate & present to project team on programme drivers, goals & issues, etc. Listens effectively and probes for new and diverse ideas. Working towards professional qualification (e.g. CIOB, APM, PMI). Other relevant qualifications specific to local requirements. You'll also have:
Understanding of contract administration. Exposure to the principles or use of different types of contracts. Effective decision-making skills. Ability to challenge constructively. Management skills. Relevant degree in the built environment, business/management studies, etc., or NVQ level 3. Membership of APM, RICS, CIOB, ICE, AACE, IRM, IEMA or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development. Deep property or infrastructure project management expertise. Strong commercial and financial acumen. Leadership and management experience of large, diverse teams. Experience of managing relationships with key senior stakeholders. Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on. Note:
