Due to sustained growth, an opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and motivated Corporate Tax Senior Manager/Associate Director to join our team based out of any of our Taunton, Exeter or Bath offices. This position will require the individual to organise their own time, support the group in an advisory role working across all areas of the business providing added value to our clients, alongside management of the corporate tax compliance function. About the role Working closely with the Directors, you will support the Group by delivering corporation tax compliance and advisory services including mentoring and training the team. Responsibilities will include: Delivering complex corporation tax compliance services. Managing advisory projects with Director support including corporate reorganisations, employee incentive plans, complex property transactions and business structuring. Liaising with the client service team and tax colleagues to provide a co-ordinated service to the client. Maintaining strong relationships with clients including face to face meetings where relevant. Identifying opportunities for new work within the client portfolio and being involved in business development. Keeping abreast of developments in corporate tax and disseminating this information to the Director group in a format to update our clients where it affects their businesses. About you Ideally ACCA/ACA qualified along with Tax experience (CTA Qualified or equivalent experience), with at least five years experience within a tax team including significant experience delivering corporation tax compliance and advisory services to clients. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential to facilitating strong relationships with clients, the tax team and other departments.
