Salary: £37,065.60 per annum

Hours per week: 45

Job Purpose

Overall responsibility for the performance and profitability of a licensed gaming centre, including but not limited to:

Achieving budgeted targets.

Adhering to company operating standards.

Meeting cost controls.

Effectively managing Human Resources.

Delivering marketing/promotional activities/events correctly.

Maintaining physical and personal security.

Completing all management reporting/administration.

Controlling cash/assets and minimizing the risk of loss.

Building and maintaining excellent customer relations.

Operating in accordance with LCCP.

Supporting the Lead Supervisor in maintaining control of the venue.

Ensuring staff are properly managed and trained.

Regularly briefing the Cluster/Area Manager on venue performance.

Main Responsibilities and Key Tasks

Operational

Ensure day-to-day control and coordination of all venue activities and staff.

Maintain high interior/exterior standards through regular inspections.

Establish and maintain customer service standards.

Take full responsibility for the opening, trading, and closure of the venue.

Monitor engineering support and report deficiencies.

Implement required PPM schedules to maximize machine uptime.

Ensure all machines are playable and escalate faults as necessary.

Implement appropriate marketing/promotional activities.

Monitor competitor activity and recommend action where required.

Maximize business opportunities within the venue.

Ensure timely and accurate cash collections in accordance with company procedures.

Analyze machine income levels and recommend actions to maximize revenue.

Observe legal aspects of the business and report discrepancies.

Achieve KPIs and audits.

Follow company standards as stipulated in the Operations Manual.

Security

Ensure compliance with age restrictions in accordance with legislation.

Adhere to all company security procedures.

Conduct regular checks of floats and keys.

Assess security procedures regularly and identify potential weaknesses.

Monitor the condition of security aids supplied by the company.

Assist in security investigations as necessary.

Respond to alarm activations and take appropriate action.

Health and Safety

Ensure the safety of all employees and public members visiting the venue.

Adhere to health and safety practices and report issues immediately.

Administration

Complete all daily/weekly/periodical administration on time and to standard.

Retain completed administration in line with company policy.

Investigate exceptions and take appropriate remedial action.

Ensure that all company assets are registered and monitored.

Human Resources

Ensure all venue employees perform to required standards.

Address instances of poor performance or misconduct appropriately.

Provide full induction and training for newly recruited employees.

Establish a good working environment to maximize employee commitment.

Ensure timely handling of recruitment applications in accordance with legislation.

Maintain accurate employee records in compliance with Data Protection legislation.

Travel and work within other venues as required by business needs.

Marketing and Promotional Activity

Implement marketing/promotional material as instructed.

Run promotions legitimately and respond to customer feedback.

Communication

Attend meetings as requested.

Update employees on company information and policies.

Conduct team briefings and maintain records.

Complete end of period venue activity report on time.

Customer Service

Resolve problems where required.

Promote the company positively when dealing with customers.

Manage and promote safeguarding and social responsibility measures.

Respond positively to customer feedback and inquiries.

Conduct business in a polite and courteous manner.

Investigate and action customer complaints immediately.

Ensure customer service meets company standards.

Other

Discourage harassment, bullying, or discrimination of any kind.

Operate in accordance with LCCP.

Carry out any other reasonable duties as required by the Company.

In keeping with the accepted principles of good company practice, you may be required to undertake additional or alternative duties related to your position as directed by your Line Manager.
