Sales Engineer
to join their team in the Marine sector. The company prides itself on delivering a first-class customer experience, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and problem-solving. As a leading manufacturer and supplier of marine propulsion equipment, they serve all sectors of the industry. With the business experiencing steady growth, they are looking for a sales engineer to support their next phase of expansion. The role involves occasional customer field visits, overseas travel, and attendance at trade exhibitions. What You Can Expect : Competitive salary, dependent on experience, expected to be in the low to mid £30s 5 weeks of annual leave plus bank holidays Enrollment in the company pension scheme Group bonus/profit-sharing scheme On-site parking Sponsored staff canteen Key Responsibilities : Prepare technical offers and quotations from customer inquiries Develop inquiries, build a sales pipeline, and ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction Efficiently manage and monitor customer queries Communicate with customers to offer solutions and promote the most suitable product offerings Foster harmonious working relationships with other areas of the company, including daily dialogue with the manufacturing team Experience Required : Preferably a background in the marine industry or a mechanical engineering discipline; experience working within a technical/engineering-related environment is necessary Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on relationship building Highly accurate, disciplined, and capable of managing a diverse workload Energy, enthusiasm, and ambition, with a drive to excel in challenging situations Proficient in IT, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel Strong numerical skills and the ability to problem-solve Flexible, proactive, and able to work independently without constant supervision Hold a current UK driving license Ideally located within a 20-mile commuting radius of Newton Abbot To Apply : If you are a skilled and motivated sales engineer with a passion for the marine industry, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
