Latrobe Regional Health (LRH) currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Respiratory Physician to help shape our evolving respiratory service on a fixed term, part-time basis for a period of 12 months. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to service development, deliver exceptional care to patients, and play a key role in training and mentoring Junior Medical staff. The role of the Respiratory Physician is to provide high-quality care to the patients of LRH's services, to supervise and train Junior Medical staff and support LRH's strategic priorities. About you Ideal candidates for this role will have: Bachelor of Medicine (MBBS) or equivalent. Registration with the Medical Practitioners Board of Australia. Fellowship of the RACP in Respiratory Medicine. Additional postgraduate education in Public Health, research or management is desirable. Demonstrated clinical ability commensurate with that expected of a Respiratory Physician. Ability to communicate with patients and their carers with respect and empathy. Demonstrated ability to work with other staff including management, senior and junior medical staff, nursing staff and students in a respectful, supportive and cooperative manner.
