Job Title Head of Growth : Accounting & Accountants Job Description The Head of Growth is accountable for leading the definition of and cross functional execution of Revenue Plans that support the overall ARR growth of Accounting and Accountants within the UKI and the commercial growth translating to Total Revenue growth for FY25 for the region. Goal of this role Growth at Sage is accountable for leading the definition and execution of our revenue plans (the end-to-end execution plans that deliver our revenue) that achieve our growth targets. We do this through working together with Business Units to translate our global strategies and value propositions into regional revenue strategies, messaging etc. We then work together across GTM functions to design and lead the execution of our strategies, through our revenue plans, to achieve our targets. Through this we create clarity, alignment. We spot and mitigate/take advantage of risks and opportunities. We create positive drive, focus, simplicity, prioritisation and pace. First 90 days Your first 30 days will be some of your most important as you build key relationships with Product, Product Marketing and Sales to drive effective communication and gaining support. You will also gain a clear and concise understanding of our customers and our market. Within 60 days you will identify the key targets, goals and metrics for your team and have a plan on how you will drive growth in your area and defining clearly the direction of what needs to be done. At the end of your first 90 days those plans will be embedded and you and your team will be driving the execution of the plans. Key Responsibilities Understanding Region customers, market, competition, performance. Go To Market and Commercial Management. Designing Revenue Plans: leads across functions to build end-to-end revenue execution plans. Revenue Plan Execution: leads the end-to-end execution of revenue plans across functions, ensuring we are tracking performance, understanding risks and opportunities and adjusting the plan accordingly to mitigate or take advantage of these. Lead the end to end launch execution of new/updated products, propositions, campaigns etc that need to be delivered into the GTM. Influence, challenge, improve: acts as the voice of the customer and/or the region to proactively influence and positively challenge both BU and GTM to deliver better strategies, proposition, experiences, GTM execution that has more impact. Success in this role is achieving: Cross functional clarity, belief and alignment. Consistent revenue achievement (specifically achievement of net £ARR growth, margin and customer satisfaction targets). Making our GTM teams successful. Qualifications and Experience The role requires a senior-level leader who has a strong background in product marketing and/or growth strategy/execution and/or commercial/sales execution; together with in-depth market and GTM knowledge. Success will be delivered through building strong, collaborative partnerships with Sales, Marketing, Commercial Operations, Product Marketing (etc) - the functions that need to work together to execute our plans. It is therefore essential that the Growth Manager has a strong ability to work across functions and execution teams to build end-to-end execution plans which are detail-focused and executed at pace to achieve our growth ambition.
