Job Description Providing legal advice and support on a wide range of legal issues to the firm. Supporting the firm in relation to claims or potential claims made against it and relevant lawyers. Developing and implementing legal risk management strategies and compliance programs. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of contracts and agreements. Ensuring the company's compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Assisting with corporate governance matters and maintaining corporate records. Advising on employment law matters and contributing to the development of HR policies. Assisting in the protection of the firm by procuring relevant insurance protection in various areas and liaising with brokers and insurers. Conducting training sessions on key legal issues for staff. The Successful Applicant A successful 'Associate General Counsel' should have: A qualified lawyer in England and Wales. A strong academic background with a degree in law from a reputable university. Proven legal experience in a risk and compliance from a law firm. Expertise in contract law, corporate law, and employment law. Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong negotiation skills.
