The Team and Role Amey is working in partnership with National Highways on the Specialist Bridges Inspection & Maintenance contract to inspect and maintain three bridges in Southwest England over a 15-year period. As a Civil Engineer Graduate, your overall objective of this role is to ensure the effective delivery and maintenance of infrastructure services within SBIM. You will work alongside the team to: Plan and undertake bridge inspections to confirm structural details and condition. Develop innovative solutions to enhance inspection and technical capabilities. Prepare technical drawings and reports. Undertake numerical analysis and calculations to determine the structural load carrying capacity. Propose strengthening and maintenance options. Use your engineering knowledge and skills to deliver robust structural assessments, enabling clients to continue the safe, efficient, and optimal management of their structure assets.
