We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commissioning Engineer to join our client, a Tier 1 contractor working on a significant Water Project in Shrewsbury. This role is outside IR35, offering a competitive daily rate of £400-£450. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the commissioning process for water treatment and distribution systems. Ensure all systems and components are installed, tested, and operational according to project specifications and standards. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration and functionality of systems. Conduct site inspections and audits to verify compliance with design and safety standards. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the commissioning phase. Prepare detailed reports and documentation on commissioning activities and outcomes. Provide technical support and guidance to the project team and stakeholders. Requirements: Proven experience as a Commissioning Engineer, preferably in the water industry. Strong knowledge of water treatment and distribution systems. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. The ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
