The Treasury department is responsible for the management of all monies both Client and Corporate along with the provision of all management reporting for the activities it undertakes both internally to the operational teams and externally to Regulators and, where appropriate, other 3rd parties.

Treasury Middle Office is a fast-moving environment within Treasury Operations and is responsible for the control environment surrounding Treasury including the administration of all banking platforms, the management of all Computershare bank accounts (circa 12,000), the due diligence for all Treasury counterparties and the handling of all banking/payment related queries from both internal and external parties. Treasury Middle Office performs a pivotal role in the many Treasury process deal flows to ensure compliance with the Treasury and Client investment policy.

Senior Analysts are expected to be subject matter experts who are responsible for processing and interpreting complex data accurately and to agreed timeframes. They are expected to take ownership of complex queries which may need a detailed investigation and to respond to these in a timely and professional manner. They will review and recommend changes to established procedures in order to improve departmental efficiencies.

The Senior Treasury Analyst must be able to deal with complex queries and manage internal & external stakeholders. The role will include working with our banking partners to resolve payment queries, onboarding, completing due diligence and answering KYC.

The Senior Treasury Analyst is expected to undertake special projects such as integration of new business blocks and acquisitions into Treasury, and process improvement initiatives.

The Senior Treasury Analyst will provide guidance and back-up to the Treasury Analyst on daily activities.

Key responsibilities include: Take ownership of complex requests/queries received into the department, performing any necessary analysis to reach a conclusion. Undertake reviews of established procedures and recommend changes to drive process improvement efficiencies. Take the lead on departmental projects and provide specialist knowledge with relation to projects being led by other departments which require treasury input. Provide control function and check data input by other teams has been done accurately. Be the SME for the area of the team in which the Senior Analyst is working (either account management, payment queries or due diligence). Undertake walkthroughs with auditors and provide evidence to assist with audit requests from both Internal and External Auditors. Take the lead on any sanctions/fraud queries that are directed to the team, working with other departments where required and escalating if needed. Evaluate and resolve problems independently and escalate where appropriate. Comply with operational risk, control policies, and procedures, making sure any breaches to regulations are reported. Key skills desired for the role include:

Required:

Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting, and finance courses would be an asset. Strong experience in Treasury in a regional environment and the associated regulatory landscape. Strong understanding of the sector that Computershare operates within. Strong communicator at all levels of the organisation.
