You will be a permanent employee. You will attract a salary depending on your skills, qualifications and experience and a bonus of 7.5%. Discounted access to sports and social clubs Employee Assistance Programme. JOB PURPOSE To work as part of a successful team to deliver UK Power Networks Employee Engagement Strategy. Support the coordination of activities to improve employee engagement across the company, and on occasion out of hours. Working with managers and supporting employees by advising on projects and encouraging participation on a broad range of employee engagement activities. Reporting and tracking on progress to ensure programs deliver value for money and a return on investment. projects Collaborate with the wellbeing team and wider business facilitating UK Power Networks pursuit of an IiP Wellbeing accreditation Track and communicate EMT engagement commitments through its Listen/Deliver initiative You will contribute to team tasks such as vendor and diary management to ensure budgets and diaries are maintained Improve the employee engagement intranet site Monitor employee engagement channels and respond to queries from the business Conduct localised employee forums at a variety of locations across the UK Power Networks footprint to develop and share employee engagement initiatives NATURE & SCOPE UK Power Networks develops, delivers, and manages safe and sustainable electricity distribution networks. We work in both regulated and unregulated markets. The vast majority of our employees work in the regulated business - the public electricity networks – working with our regulator Ofgem in a series of regulatory review periods. A smaller proportion of the business takes on major commercial projects and contracting assignments ranging from supporting BAA at the major London airports to Powerlink, the private maintainer of much of the London Underground. SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Excellent written and verbal communication skills Detail-oriented individual able to interpret and translate complex information Able to coordinate and manage multiple projects and deliverables Ability to communicate, influence and manage multiple partners across different levels Pro-actively solutionise and adhere to deadlines Happy to work as part a team to deliver results collaboratively Integrity Analyse and assess new ideas, considering risks, opportunities and impacts Identify, engage and manage relationships with partners Health & Safety Responsibilities Managers and supervisors carry both legal and company responsibilities for ensuring the health and safety of their employees, those under their control and those who might be affected by the work undertaken, i.e. public, visitors and employees of other organisations. This includes briefing individuals working for them and ensuring there is the necessary understanding, competence and application of requirements to work safely and without harming the environment.
