We are going through a transformation journey, providing our people with opportunity to be integral to improving our service and delivering better products to brokers and customers. We are a proud member of the Intact family, with a presence in North America, the UK, and Europe. We are currently recruiting for a Senior Compliance Assurance Manager to join our established and experienced team here at RSA on a hybrid basis. Your role

As a Senior Compliance Assurance Manager, you will assist the UK Chief Compliance Officer and the Head of Regulatory Affairs and Assurance (UK) in delivering risk-based assurance activity across the UK business. You will support and collaborate with the Head of Regulatory Affairs and Assurance (UK) on the assurance framework and priorities. You will be responsible for conducting compliance assurance reviews of differing levels of complexity across a range of business areas. You will test the business’s compliance with FCA, PRA, and outcome regulation, highlighting gaps or weaknesses as part of your reviews. You will analyse regulatory themes and trends and identify opportunities across the UK business for improving operational efficiency and mitigating regulatory risk. You will have an external lens into regulatory developments in the insurance industry and accompanying best practices. About you

You will be responsible for planning and delivering assurance reviews of differing levels of complexity across a range of business areas, developing and completing test plans, maintaining evidence of findings, and ensuring the implementation of practical, proportionate, and sustainable remedial solutions identified in the course of monitoring is delivered in line with the defined requirements. You will take a range of approaches to assurance and will carry out traditional, data-led, short, sharp, and ongoing reviews as appropriate. Prior relevant industry experience in compliance, risk, audit, or similar assurance functions is essential. A good understanding of the regulatory provisions applying to commercial and specialty lines. What we offer you

At RSA we put our people first. We have adopted hybrid working as standard, to give you a better work/life balance and an excellent flexible working mindset. That is on top of a comprehensive range of benefits, including pension contributions of up to 11% looking after you now and in the future. We’ll give you countless opportunities to continuously develop, alongside a diverse and passionate community of experts – the best the industry has to offer. You’ll be empowered to be your best self, do your best work, and make a meaningful impact. Our employee promise allows you to shape the future, win as a team, and grow with us. About Us

We celebrate individuality and it’s important to us that we have a culture where our people feel respected and valued for who they are. We pride ourselves on being accessible and encourage inclusive environments where our people can always give and show the very best of themselves. We understand that home life is a priority and are happy to consider reduced hours or job shares.
