We’re seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Sales to join our team and drive new business growth, helping us connect with large and mid-sized corporate clients, creative agencies, and event organisers. About the Role As our Head of Sales, you’ll lead the charge in securing new clients and fostering relationships that propel our business forward. Reporting directly to the leadership team, you’ll shape and execute sales strategies that align with our overall business goals, working closely with internal teams to deliver impactful solutions. Key Responsibilities New Business Development Identify, target, and win new business from corporate clients, creative agencies, and event organisers. Develop and implement a sales strategy focused on market segmentation, lead generation, and relationship-building. Collaborate with marketing to craft campaigns that drive demand for our services. Promote our value proposition to potential clients, in partnership with the client services team. Attend industry events and conduct research to stay informed about trends and opportunities. Lead the preparation of proposals and pitch presentations, showcasing our expertise. Negotiate contracts that meet the goals of both clients and the company. Client Development & Account Growth Work with account and production managers to grow new client relationships. Identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities across the Strata Group. Stakeholder Management Represent On Event Production Co. and the Strata Group positively within the industry. Build strong relationships with clients, partners, suppliers, and influencers. Collaborate across departments to ensure seamless project delivery. Provide detailed sales reports, forecasts, and performance insights to the leadership team.

Skills and Qualifications

Experience: At least 5 years in sales and business development, preferably in events, production, or creative industries. Industry Knowledge: A deep understanding of the events and production landscape, including trends and client demands. Sales Skills: Proven ability to create and execute consultative sales strategies and negotiate contracts. Leadership: Experience leading sales teams and mentoring staff for high performance. Client Focus: A client-first mindset, with the ability to translate client needs into actionable outcomes. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging senior stakeholders. Commercial Acumen: A strategic thinker with strong financial awareness, balancing revenue growth and profitability.
