We are seeking an experienced IT Manager who will be responsible for developing and implementing the technical strategy for information technology equipment and services to meet our School needs. The Pilgrims' School is a leading, selective, day and boarding boys’ prep and double choir school, set in the beautiful and historic Winchester city centre. We are a vibrant, lively school where boys aged 4 to 13 are encouraged to find their passions and nurture them. The IT Manager has management responsibility for the IT Technician and reports directly to the Director of Finance & Resources. The incumbent will work alongside the Digital Learning Teacher and will play a key role in the School’s ongoing transformation to Digital Learning as well as maintaining an IT system that supports the School’s needs. The individual will develop and improve the School’s systems, including servers, hardware, operating systems, network infrastructure, and end-user applications. They will provide technical leadership, advising the School on the most effective approach to meeting its strategic goals with the use of IT, as well as overseeing and monitoring the School’s backup systems and IT disaster recovery planning. This is a busy and very rewarding role and the ideal candidate will play a crucial role in facilitating effective IT within the school. Hours

Reporting to Director of Finance & Resourcing. To start February 2025. This is an all-year-round role (52 weeks); working 40 hours a week (Monday to Friday), 8.30am – 5.30pm.
