My client, one of the UK's fastest growing E-commerce brands, is on the hunt for multiple Junior PHP Developers to join their growing development team. You will be responsible for contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of our web applications. Your expertise in PHP programming, coupled with your problem-solving skills and attention to detail, will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality code and exceptional user experiences.
Your responsibilities will include:
Collaborate with the team to design efficient and scalable solutions using PHP.
Develop and maintain web applications using the CakePHP framework.
Write clean, well-structured, and well-documented code to ensure the maintainability and readability of the software.
Troubleshoot and debug existing applications to identify and resolve issues promptly.
Experience required:
Good understanding and practical experience with the CakePHP framework (or equivalent, e.g., Laravel).
Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, following coding standards and best practices.
Hands-on experience with databases, particularly MySQL.
Solid understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in coding and documentation.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively collaborate within a team environment.
