A high level of customer service is required for the role, as you will be working with external and internal customers of Buckinghamshire County Council. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are therefore essential. Experience of working with SAP and dealing with financial administration and transactions is desirable, along with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages. As an ‘any-desk’ worker, you’ll need to be connected to our network to access digital folders and resources, but this can either be from home or an office location when required. You will be required to work from the office a couple of times a week, depending on your role and team requirements. About you
The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual who thrives within a team environment but is also able to work using their own initiative. The role requires somebody who has strong organisational skills, along with the ability to produce reports, manipulate data using Excel, write letters, and handle general correspondence. Applicants should be educated to at least GCSE/NVQ 2 standard and have strong administrative skills coupled with the ability to prioritise and manage their workload effectively. Resources cover a wide range of specialisms, including Human Resources, Finance, ICT, and Business Operations. Our main focus is supporting the other directorates to provide the best possible service to our residents.
