I am actively seeking a Structural Engineer to join a successful design practice in either Liverpool or the Wigan office.
Our client largely focuses on the design of building structures. Recent projects include residential apartments, schools, commercial offices, and high-rise domestic structures. You would be working on projects from inception through to completion stage and you would be offered ongoing support to become Chartered.
As a Structural Engineer, you will:
Generate designs, reports, and specifications.
Conduct structural surveys.
Assist with report writing and bid proposals.
Occasionally visit sites.
To be considered for this Structural Engineer role, you will need:
A strong degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (2:1 or above BEng/MEng).
Previous consultancy experience (ideally a minimum of 2 years or more working on residential and commercial works).
Competence in designing with contemporary materials.
The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
A valid driving licence to visit sites (ideally).
