Description:
Ionix is currently looking for an Application Engineer/Scientist to deliver key customer-facing projects. You will be responsible for screening enquiries, preparing proposals, and delivering projects that apply Ionix technologies to solve our customers’ challenges in industries such as Aerospace, Automotive, Nuclear, Manufacturing, Plant, Process Control, and Oil & Gas sectors. The candidate will work closely with Commercial & Sales teams, as well as with the Technical Director and Product Development Engineers. Technical work will include testing and evaluating new extreme environment piezoelectric elements, transducers, sensors, and systems, acting as the voice of the customer, and understanding their requirements. The role will include commercial/sales training as required to develop these skills in a predominantly technical individual. You should be able to demonstrate relevant experience in research/design, assembly, testing, production, or manufacturing, and have the ability to work to deadlines with a flexible approach to the varied tasks required of the role.
