Childrens Support Worker
gap healthcare are currently recruiting for Childrens Support Workers to cover a variety of Childrens and Young People services in March, Cambridgeshire. We have a variety of shifts available including days, nights, and sleep-ins.
We have both full-time, part-time, and bank opportunities.
Brief Duties Description
Form positive relationships with Children and provide an environment in which they feel safe and free from harm. Support Children to gain self-control by rewarding positive behaviours and challenging unacceptable behaviour. Ensuring each care plan is followed and amended as required to reflect their changing needs. Assisting Children with practical matters such as accessing the community, independence skills development, cooking, cleaning, and personal care. Support to identify and attend social and leisure activities. Providing a positive role model able to offer advice, guidance, and assistance where appropriate. Skills Required
A minimum of six months experience working with Children or Young People. Caring personality and nature. Positive attitude and passion to help others. Basic IT and computer skills.
