SEND Support Assistants Needed in Horncastle - Local SEND School Protocol Education is seeking dedicated and compassionate SEND Support Assistants to join a local SEND school in Horncastle. These full-time roles offer excellent opportunities for permanent positions, allowing you to play a key role in supporting the educational development and well-being of students with special educational needs. 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday Age Range:

KS3 to KS4 (Dependent on experience) Contract Type:

Full-time, with potential for permanent placement Key Responsibilities: Supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) across the EYFS to KS4 age range. Assisting with personal care and mobility needs where required. Encouraging student engagement in classroom activities and learning. Providing 1:1 and small group support to help students overcome challenges and achieve their potential. Assisting with behaviour management and implementing positive strategies to foster a supportive environment. Working closely with teachers and staff to monitor student progress and tailor support as needed. Promoting student independence and encouraging positive social integration. Skills and Qualifications: Experience working with children or adults with SEND is desirable, but not essential. A genuine passion for supporting students with additional needs. Patience, empathy, and a proactive attitude. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or a related field is advantageous but not essential.
