Finance Business Partner

37 Hours per week 12 month FTC

Norse Group provides a range of commercial, property and care services in joint venture partnerships across the UK, supporting the delivery and development of essential service functions. We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Finance Business Partner to join our Groups Finance department based at our Head Office in Norwich on a 12 month fixed term contract.

The Role:

Reporting to Head of Finance, your role as a Business Partner will be to act as financial lead for your designated business areas. Supporting department directors and managers by providing financial insight through analysis of accounts and industry knowledge. You will be a visible part of the business units, contributing and supporting in the day to day running financially, from both a strategic and operational perspective.

You will be expected to use this information to engage with multiple stakeholders and provide input into business strategy whilst mitigating potential risks.

You will be supported by a structured and professional finance and accounting team, supporting you in the development of monthly forecasts and budgets, and giving you the chance to share your knowledge and experience to support their development.

Our Successful Candidate:

It is essential that you can demonstrate a blend of industry training with commercial experience, demonstrating:

Recognised finance and/or accounting qualification - ACCA, ACA or equivalent Proven experience in a commercial finance position and within a business partnering role Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, capable of tailoring your presentation of information to your audience Solution driven, capable of contributing to business planning through sound financial understanding, analysis and advice Capable of working autonomously where required, as well as being able to collaborate in a team environment Travel to other Norse Group Offices will be required, so a full UK driving licence is essential to meet the criteria of the role
