Strategic Sourcing Manager

Permanent The Strategic Sourcing Manager will lead the clients Procurement Strategy. This role will be responsible for finding, evaluating and onboarding new clients to form part of the supply base. Responsibilities: Find, evaluate, onboard and develop international suppliers. Establish long term relationships with strategic suppliers. Track and report supplier performance. Evaluate and propose investment and support opportunities with suppliers. Create plans, budgets, and deliverables to implement. Negotiate terms with suppliers, ensuring cost-effectiveness, favourable terms, and robust service levels. Identify procurement risks and work with relevant stakeholders to implement mitigation strategies, ensuring continuity of supply and minimising operational disruptions. Work closely with Commercial team to align Supply with Demand and deliver the Commercial strategy. Work closely with Genetics team to align varieties pipeline throughout supply base. Work closely with Agronomy team to align growing standards and support network for our global grower base with agronomic know-how. Requirements: Proven experience of Procurement, Sourcing and Agronomy within the Fresh Produce industry. Excellent people management, interpersonal and negotiating skills. A strong track record of effectively managing supplier relationships. Flexibility, open-mindedness, and adaptability to find solutions to challenges in a rapidly changing business and regulatory environment. Bilingual English & Spanish or French.
