Mō te tūnga | About the role The Transport Financial Administrator works collaboratively within the Transport team, overseeing finance administration and providing customer service support. This role involves efficiently managing public transport financial operations, including monitoring both internal and external budgets, handling accounts payable functions, and conducting data analysis. The position requires adaptability in a dynamic and evolving environment. We like to set people up for success, so you will be a leading applicant if you have: At least three years’ experience in a relevant finance role. Technical proficiency in financial systems and administration. An understanding of Local Government, Public Transport and/or Operations is an advantage. Experience in building and maintaining effective relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders. Adaptability, with the ability to pivot in a fast-changing environment. Commitment to continuous improvement in financial systems and processes. What’s on offer?
