First Point Group is recruiting for a Health and Safety Manager (IOSH & NEBOSH) with previous experience working on projects in mobile wireless 4G / 5G telecommunications / CDM. As the H&S Manager, your responsibilities include monitoring SHEQ policies/procedures, risk assessments, renewing ISO quality accreditations such as ISO45001 / ISO14001 / ISO9001 etc. Only candidates with IOSH & NEBOSH will be considered; this is a mandatory requirement. This role is hybrid (2-3 days per week in the office), and it may be better suited for candidates that live along the M4-corridor / home counties / London. If you live further afield, you are welcome to apply but please be advised that a weekly office presence will be required. ***** PLEASE NOTE

– sponsorship cannot be provided. Candidates must live in the UK and have valid rights to work. About the role: You will lead and advise on new, emerging, and present Health and Safety risks. Implement and monitor Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) policies and procedures. Support the Commercial teams in ensuring Health and Safety Risks and Opportunities are identified within the business impact assessment process for existing & potential new business opportunities. Drive forward a positive safety risk agenda, promoting demonstrable cultural growth. Act in the capacity as the Health and Safety risk representative on internal and external Industry Forums and Working Groups. Support the Supplier Governance Manager and the Procurement Team on Supplier Health and Safety risks, approvals, governance, escalation, and safety performance consequence management. Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards. Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate SHEQ risks in Telecoms infrastructure projects. Provide proactive advice on SHEQ matters to foster a culture of safety and compliance. Experience: NEBOSH & IOSH certifications/qualifications. Qualification in an engineering, design, or construction-related subject area, especially in relation to mobile wireless 4G/5G telecom projects. Extensive knowledge of Construction Design and Management (CDM 2015) Regulations. EHS Internal / External Audit experience (ISO:14001/45001). Knowledge of ISO45001 and evaluation of Health and Safety Compliance.
