To provide engineering resource in carrying out Planned and reactive maintenance activities to minimise downtime and reduce quality issues. To strive towards continuous improvement of all machinery, equipment and ways of working in line with business strategy. To comply with legislative, business and site procedures and practices.
Shifts:
Pitman shift pattern 2 on, 2 off, 3 on 2 off, 2 on, 3 off 6am-6pm / 6pm-6am Every other weekend off Work 7 x shifts out of 14 x
Multi Skilled Engineer - Brief summary of responsibilities:
Fault diagnosis and breakdown repairs of plant and site service equipment Planned maintenance and Maintenance requests. Adherence to statutory checks Adherence to GMP Involvement in CI and Capital projects Upkeep of stores, booking out of stock items Upkeep of all Engineering Technical documentation. Support and coach relevant employees in all aspects of shared maintenance To undertake training and up skilling programs as directed by business needs. Deliver effective communication at Cell reviews, Engineering meetings, and ‘Midnight mass’ Engineering Handovers Make decisions within the framework of site policies and compliance to customer codes of practice.
Required skills, knowledge & experience:
Ideally you'll hold a recognised Engineering Apprenticeship (electrical, Mechanical or Multi skilled). ONC or BTEC equivalent HNC (desirable). We're seeking an experienced Multi Skilled Engineer with experience within a fast paced Manufacturing environment.
