Prior’s Court is seeking an experienced Assistant Management Accountant to assist the Financial Controller in providing financial and administrative support to all entities within the charity. This is a crucial role ensuring accurate and timely recording and reporting of the financial transactions to management accounts level for all entities. There will also be an opportunity to study a Level 7 Accountancy Apprenticeship (ACCA) after successful probation period. *Must be a driver due to remote location Near Newbury* The role of Assistant Management Accountant

Build relationships with finance teams within local authorities (LAs) Liaise with LAs for information to enable invoicing ie POs Raise/process invoices (fee and adhoc) and credit notes for all entities Manage access to all LA portals Manage aged debt - ensure invoices are paid in a timely manner and any queries are resolved Management Accounts Monthly revenue recognition Balance Sheet postings and reconciliations including fixed assets, aged debtors, deferred income, intercompany transactions and stock Management of Fixed Asset system including acquisitions, disposals and depreciation Produce month end journals Run variance reports and investigate differences Cash Flow Assist the Financial Controller with cash flow forecasting on a monthly basis Ensure revenue is forecasted accurately Banking Monitor bank accounts on a daily basis – income and payments Record bank account movements on Sage Year End & Analysis Support the Financial Controller in preparation for the year-end audit and group statutory accounts Adhoc analysis as required by Budget Holders, Finance Director or Financial Controller Adhering to Protocols and Promoting Safety Adhere to health and safety protocols and report any issues promptly Support the promotion of a proactive safety culture in the workplace Any other tasks as directed to meet the requirements of the role and to always operate in a style that is consistent with the values and vision of Prior’s Court. Minimum Requirements
