Product Manager

will guide the strategic vision and development of our real estate management product, encompassing market planning and site selection, construction project management, lease administration and accounting. This role will work directly with the Product Line GM / VP who will partner with them as they work to define product vision, set strategic goals, and ensure that the product delivers value to customers and aligns with the company's business objectives while collaborating cross-functionally. The Product Manager will work closely with a product owner to create epics and user stories that align with our Program Increment (PI) planning requirements. Key Responsibilities: Visionary Product Strategy

Define Strategic Vision: In partnership with the Product Line GM, articulate a clear and compelling vision for the future of the real estate management product, including long-term goals, market positioning, and growth opportunities. Market Research: Continuously monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities and threats. Conduct market research and analysis to inform product decisions.

DREAM Process Leadership

Strategic Approval Pathway: Bring strategies for various elements of the product through our DREAM process to gain approval and prioritization from stakeholders. Facilitate Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams during the DREAM process to ensure all perspectives are considered in strategic planning.

Business Case Development

Create Strong Business Cases: Develop comprehensive business cases for major initiatives that showcase impact, cost savings, revenue potential, and other key elements contributing to a positive return on investment (ROI). Data-Driven Insights: Utilize market research and analytics to support business case arguments, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Epic and Story Creation

Support Product Owner: Collaborate with the product owner in creating epics and user stories well in advance of quarterly PI planning commitments. Align with PI Planning: Ensure that all product initiatives are aligned with PI planning requirements, facilitating timely delivery of features.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Foster Synergies: Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to drive alignment and execution of the product strategy. Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on the product's progress and soliciting feedback. Facilitate Innovation: Encourage an environment where innovative ideas can flourish through open communication and active listening.

Product Lifecycle

Product Launch: Plan and execute product launches in tight collaboration with product marketing. This will include influencing marketing strategies, sales enablement, and customer training. Lifecycle management: Manage the entire product lifecycle, from concept to end-of-life, including updates, enhancements, and retirements.

Strategic Prioritization

Define Priorities: Prioritize features and initiatives based on customer feedback, business goals, and technical feasibility. Data-Informed Decisions: Utilize data-driven insights to guide strategic decision-making regarding product development.

Performance Measurement

Establish KPIs: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the product, tracking performance over time to inform future strategies. Budget Management: Develop and manage the product budget with your GM, including resource allocation and cost control. Continuous Improvement: Leverage insights from performance metrics to drive continuous improvement in product offerings.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, computer science) or equivalent work experience. 5+ years of proven experience in product management, including a track record of orchestrating successful and innovative product launches in dynamic market conditions. Strong understanding of Agile and progressive product management methodologies. Exceptional communication and leadership skills with a proven ability to influence and drive consensus across diverse teams. Analytical mindset and a demonstrated ability to leverage innovative data-driven insights to drive strategic decision-making. Understanding and awareness of AI tools to help expedite product management work. Expertise in market research and competitive analysis, with a keen awareness of evolving industry trends and a focus on innovative solutions. Exceptional organizational and project management skills to navigate complex and dynamic environments. Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and drive innovative results in a matrixed organization. Strategic thinking and adept problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for anticipating and adapting to market changes. Certifications (optional):
