As a Student Recruitment Officer, you will be responsible for promoting our institution to prospective students and assisting them throughout the admissions process. Your primary goal will be to promote the Student Referral scheme and attract talented individuals, guiding them towards enrolling onto our academic programs.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement effective student recruitment strategies to achieve enrolment targets and attract a diverse pool of applicants. Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective students, responding to inquiries via phone, email, social media, and in-person meetings. Provide detailed information about our institution's academic programs, admission requirements, scholarships, campus facilities, and student life to prospective students. Conduct presentations, campus tours, and information sessions for groups and individuals to showcase our institution and its offerings. Represent our institution at recruitment events, college fairs, high schools, and community organisations, effectively communicating our unique value proposition to prospective students. Utilise CRM systems or other designated tools to track and follow up with prospective students, ensuring timely and personalized communication throughout the enrolment process. Assist prospective students with the application process, including reviewing applications and providing guidance on required documents. Collaborate with the admissions team to review applications, conduct interviews, and participate in the selection process, ensuring a fair and comprehensive evaluation of prospective students. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in student recruitment and provide recommendations for innovative recruitment strategies and process improvements.

Qualifications

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse audiences. Organisational skills: Time management: Effectively prioritising tasks, meeting deadlines, and using time efficiently. Task prioritisation: Determining the importance of tasks and allocating time accordingly. Planning and execution: Developing strategies, setting goals, and following through on plans. Attention to detail: Ensuring accuracy and precision in work. Problem-solving: Identifying issues and finding effective solutions. Resource management: Utilising available resources (people, equipment, materials) efficiently. Systems thinking: Understanding how different parts of a process or project connect. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with colleagues, students and educational partners. Knowledge of the education landscape, admission processes, and financial aid options. Proficiency in using various digital platforms, social media, and CRM systems for recruitment purposes. Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a passion for helping students achieve their educational goals. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel to attend recruitment events as required. Familiarity with data analysis and reporting is a plus. Key Result Areas
