Our client is looking for their first legal hire, the successful Corporate Lawyer is required to head up the legal services division in a well known local accountancy and consultancy firm.

Description
Provide a wide range of corporate legal advice to a diverse clientele
Draft and negotiate a range of corporate contracts.
Provide corporate advice including M&A, joint ventures, insolvency and restructuring.
Advise on corporate governance and regulatory compliance
Liaise with other departments to provide a holistic service to clients
Keep up-to-date with changes in corporate law
No business development is required in this role as you will be providing advice to already known clients.
There is an opportunity for the successful candidate to grow the legal services function
Profile
A successful Corporate Lawyer should have:
A relevant legal qualification
Excellent knowledge of corporate law
Strong drafting and negotiation skills
Ability to manage a diverse caseload
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A client-focused approach and strong business acumen
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
Job Offer
A competitive salary in the region of £65,000 - £80,000 per annum DOE.
