United Kingdom (Hybrid) Our company will be offering Traineeship/ entry-level opportunities for recently Graduated University Students with the relevant tertiary qualification to bring a positive attitude and willingness to learn and collaborate, leading to permanent employment. The Radio Network Design & Planning engineer is responsible for network design and planning activities, improvement strategies and planning. Develops and evaluates network performance criteria and measurement methods. Prepares the analysis of the short or long-term capacity and coverage needs. Conducts network design for new Software release, creates strategies to improve the network, and design new features. This role is first step in Radio Network Design & Planning team and full training and learning opportunity will be provided. Candidate should have keen interest in telecommunication and Engineering qualification. Position: Entry Level Duration: 12 months (fixed-term contract) Date: April, 2025 Location: Hybrid in Reading, UK Education Recommendations: Currently a candidate finishing their BSc or MSc degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with an accredited school in the UK HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

Working in Radio Network Planning and Optimization department (NPO) in Nokia, you will be learning about: Radio network design for telecommunication for 2G, LTE, 5G Parameter design and configuration of base station (BTS) Understand how to optimize and troubleshoot radio problems in BTS like call drops, interference, data throughput issues IP and Transmission planning Interference analysis Work/collaborate cross border (remote) in an international, Europe spread team Great opportunity for engineering mind set You will work in one of the engineering departments in a multi-national team in Nokia KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Masters or BSc: Telecom/ Electronics and Communication / Electrics and Electronics Engineering Excellent English skills: both verbal and written Strong desire to learn & develop himself/herself professionally Technical skills: Interest in telecommunications in Radio and Microwave Will work in Radio Network Planning and Optimization department (NPO) Basic understanding of Telecommunication technologies 2G, 3G, 4G LTE and 5G Understanding of radio waves and propagation, antennas interference, modulation etc Basic coding and programming skills Analytical engineering mindset Interpolation of Data Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality of work Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and vendors About Us
