Ponticelli UK Ltd are looking for a Business Graduate to join our team. The Graduate will contribute to the growth and success of the business by applying academic knowledge to real-world challenges. The Graduate will be responsible for supporting key business functions, driving projects, and developing skills necessary for a successful career in the energy services sector.

Key Deliverables

Lead and participate in business projects that align with company objectives, ensuring timely delivery and achievement of goals. Analyse business data to identify trends, support decision-making, and provide recommendations for process improvements. Work closely with various departments and stakeholders to support business initiatives, including finance, marketing, HR, and operations. Assist in the development and implementation of strategic plans, contributing to the overall growth and sustainability of the business. Support business development activities, including market research, competitor analysis, and identifying opportunities for expansion. Evaluate existing business processes and systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Build and maintain relationships with key clients and suppliers, ensuring effective communication and fostering long-term partnerships. Ensure that all activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements, including HSEQ and GDPR standards. Engage in continuous learning and professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills relevant to the energy sector and business management. Rotate through various business functions to gain a comprehensive understanding of the company’s operations and how different departments contribute to overall success. Profile

Qualifications and Work Experience:

Essential: Recent graduate with a degree in Business, Management, or a related field. Desirable: Work experience or internships in the energy sector or a related industry.

Job Specific Knowledge:

Essential: Strong understanding of business principles, including finance, marketing, and operations. Desirable: Knowledge of the energy sector and its key challenges and opportunities.

Skills: Essential: Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. Essential: Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. Essential: Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, with strong organisational and time management skills. Desirable: Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
