We are looking for a part-time Bookkeeper / Office Manager who should have the following experience and skills: Office Administration:

Sales ledger - invoicing and reconciling payment (typically 5 sales invoices a month) Purchase Ledger - reconciling purchase invoices and expenses / credit cards (30 items per month) Bank reconciliation Credit control Monthly reconciliation and reports Create and manage spreadsheets for cashflow and other analysis Ensuring all transactions, including all expense entries, are completed in time for the quarterly VAT return to be submitted to HMRC by our accountants Provide salary details to our external payroll provider Other Business Activities:

Manage the booking of the studios for both internal and external use Manage the day-to-day use of the studios to ensure they are ready for photo/video shoots and that the studio, kitchens, etc., are clean and tidy post-shoot. Organise logistics for shoots and model casting. In any one day, there may be up to 40 people at the studios, including staff, subcontractors, models, and customers. Manage studio refreshments for shoots, etc. Manage and book external providers of studio maintenance/certification Pick up visitors and deliver equipment where possible and agreed. We pay mileage at 45p/mile. Where car insurance doesn't accommodate this usage, we would reimburse any additional cost. Candidate Characteristics and Skills:

Must be self-reliant with good verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a sometimes high-pressure environment. Must be very flexible and able to manage multiple activities at the same time. Must be experienced with Excel or Google Sheets and able to do analysis and create business reports. Must have substantial experience with accounting software; preferably with Xero, though training can be provided. This position is anticipated to be part-time/flexible working for the right candidate. We will pay a very competitive salary to ensure we employ the most capable candidate. Holidays would be 28 days per annum pro-rata on contracted hours to include bank holidays.
