This is an exciting role and would most likely suit someone with previous experience in a similar Project Manager role where they have gained knowledge and experience from concept to delivery of projects within the pension industry. This role is based within the Project Management team, comprised of specialists that support the XPS Administration business in Project Management and Project Support. The team is located across the XPS Administration national offices. We’re seeking to resource a Senior Project Manager in the Project Management team to support business growth and an ongoing and increased demand for project management. The Role
As a Senior Project Manager with XPS you will: Work on medium to large sized projects often alongside a less experienced Project Manager and/or Project Support Officer. Identification and delivery of the agreed project scope. Setup and maintenance of all project documents (PID, Plan, RAID Log, etc). Setup, attendance and leading of required internal and external calls. Communication (written and verbal) to internal stakeholders, clients and other third parties. Successful completion of the project to the agreed milestones and live dates. Tracking and charging of any fees associated with the project delivery. Working with less experienced Project Managers and/or Project Support Officers to maximise effectiveness and aid career development. Your Profile
Previous experience in a similar Project Manager role. Project management experience from the pension industry is highly desirable. Ideally qualified to degree level or equivalent; candidates with strong A-Level qualifications (or equivalent qualifications) will also be considered. Candidates who do not possess formal qualifications but have extensive and relevant experience in Project Management will be considered. Project Management experience from concept to implementation. Experience of technical and business change deliveries. Positive and proactive approach. Excellent organisational and planning skills. Strong written, verbal and presentation skills to all levels. Ability to multi-task and respond to changing priorities. Able to take ownership and responsibility for own work. IT proficient in MS Office, including MS Project. Flexible approach to work pressures. Good problem-solving skills. Strong belief in adhering to deadlines and quality service. Ability to mentor/coach less experienced colleagues.
