Since our inception in 2014 we have grown from an Oil and Gas focused team to now including the full energy spectrum including Power, Renewables and Construction. Each Associate in the Global Energy practice will have a rounded exposure to all elements of the energy business, whilst developing a specialism in a chosen field. Harnessing deep expertise, we act as a trusted partner to our clients, securing cost effective, bespoke insurance and risk solutions. As an independent broker, we’re not led by profit margins and shareholder demands, allowing us to always put our client’s interests first. Founded in 2014, Lockton Global Energy is a specialty business focused on the Oil, Gas, Power and Renewables businesses. It has grown significantly over the past 10 years to include over 300 energy specialists across 35 countries, with over USD1.1bn of premium placed across our Energy divisions. Account Executive Role – What is involved? As an Account Executive your primary role is to build and maintain excellent working relationships with our clients to ensure that we are providing the best service for all of their insurance needs. This will also include fostering close working relationships with our Brokers and wordings and claims experts. You will be responsible for an allocated portfolio of existing clients to support their ongoing insurance needs and renewal process. This will include supporting strategy meetings with clients and our expert Brokers, preparing market submissions, analysing renewal information, looking for opportunities to provide enhance or additional services and tracking client policies through the renewal process. Qualifications
What are the typical responsibilities as an Account Executive? Building strong partnerships with your allocated portfolio of clients Proactively track client renewal periods, premium payments and any losses Analyse renewal information to prepare market submissions Provide client feedback to contribute to client review meetings and renewal strategy Prepare policy documentation including working with our Energy wordings expert for any bespoke clause wording Support the claims team on any major losses What skills and experience would we like you to have? As an Account Executive in the Power team it would be desirable for you to have experience of working on Energy business from a Broking, Underwriting or wider Insurance background Previous experience of working on or an interest in learning Renewable business is desirable Experience of preparing market submissions and policy documentation will be beneficial Due to the nature of the role you will need to be organized, proficient in using Microsoft office and be comfortable communicating with a wide range of clients and colleagues Desire to join a dynamic, entrepreneurial team in a growing organisation Equal Opportunity Statement
