The responsibility of a Claims Handler at Arch Insurance Company (Europe) Limited relates to all Professional Indemnity, Cyber, and IP claims generated by Arch managed syndicates and company platforms in the U.K, with additional exposure in the U.S and EMEA regions. Duties include but are not limited to the following: Handle claims associated with Arch Insurance (Europe) Ltd policies. Provide technical leadership to the rest of the London market on lead files. Responsible for the delivery of a high level claims service. This involves regular communication with claims manager and underwriters. Assist underwriters in the implementation of their overall underwriting strategy. Represent Professional Lines/Cyber claims at events, client meetings, broker meetings, and Arch internal meetings (when required). Manage service providers involved in the claims function on a day-to-day basis. Assist in the managing of TPA’s including annual audits. Assist in aspects of coverage and potential recovery.
