We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join a dynamic team in Redbridge. This role focuses on supporting children with learning disabilities, providing expert assessment, intervention, and guidance to help them achieve their fullest potential.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Delivering specialist occupational therapy assessments and interventions for children with learning disabilities. Developing and implementing individualised care plans tailored to the specific needs of each child. Supporting children in improving their functional skills and achieving developmental milestones. Working closely with families and multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to care. Advocating for the needs of children and their families within the community and service settings. Providing training and support to colleagues and other professionals involved in the child's care. Contributing to the continuous improvement of occupational therapy services for children with learning disabilities. Requirements:

Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy and current registration with HCPC. Substantial experience working with children with learning disabilities. Strong understanding of the challenges faced by children with LD and their families. Proficient in delivering a range of therapeutic interventions tailored to individual needs. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills. Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months. On the update service?
