Reactive Maintenance Engineer (Electrical) - Grantham - Progression - New! Grantham Full Time Permanent Days-Based Shift Pattern (12 hours, 4 on 4 off) Competitive Salary + Overtime + Work-life balance Are you a Maintenance Engineer with a proven track record of Electrical maintenance of machinery and equipment looking for your next exciting career move within an industry-leading business? The purpose of this role is to ensure the safe, smooth, and proper running of machinery. You will prevent, diagnose and resolve electrical issues related to plant machinery while ensuring a culture of Safety First in an industrial environment. Primarily centred around Waste Management, this business is expanding rapidly in the fields of Resource Recovery and Circular Economy, ensuring nothing truly goes to waste. They are leading key UK and Ireland sustainability projects as they look to recycle more materials ranging from Metals, Plastics and Oil through to Hazardous Waste and identifying ways to utilise these to create clean energy and fully recycled products. Role Responsibilities: Perform reactive maintenance to ensure machinery operates at optimal performance levels and ensure the safe, smooth, and proper running of machinery, plant and equipment. Electrical biased role with some Mechanical work involved, with further training and development of skills. Diagnose and repair electrical faults to minimize equipment downtime. Conduct safety checks on electrical systems and equipment. What We Are Looking For? Electrical Maintenance background, with some mechanical experience if possible Confident electical experience, preferably in general plant machinery Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
